The Verde Valley Sanctuary provides comprehensive services to assist, protect and empower victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Our 360-degree approach provides emergency assistance and shelter, confidential counseling, case management, and legal support as well as year-round education and prevention programs in the community. Services available in English and Spanish.

Arizona Tax Credit
You can support the Verde Valley Sanctuary and benefit from the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit. Here is how it works: File your Arizona tax return, attach Form 321 and receive dollar-for-dollar credit on your taxes for your donation up to $400* (filing single return) or $800* (filing a joint return).

Become a Sustaining Donor
Our sustaining donors are committed supporters of the work of the Verde Valley Sanctuary, who agree to donate on a recurring basis via automated credit card transactions or monthly contributions. As a sustaining donor, your contributions will not only provide shelter and basic necessities, but also the much-needed support services that women and children need to overcome the impact of the violence they have experienced.
The Hope Society
The Hope Society is the Verde Valley Sanctuary’s annual giving program recognizing individuals committed to annual gifts of $400.00 or more. Support through the Hope Society is an investment in the future of Verde Valley Sanctuary and ensures that funding remains available to continue to deliver outstanding support to shelter residents, outreach clients and continued education and prevention initiatives that will bring us closer to the goal of ending domestic violence.
Individual gift levels are as follows:
- Helping Hands: $400 – $799
- Education and Prevention: $800 – $4,999
- Safe Shelter: $5,000 – $9,999
- Community Partner: $10,000.00+

Christmas Stockings for Boys and Girls: Specifically we would like them filled with practical items such as flashlights, batteries, soap, shampoo, small school stuff, lots of quality snacks, headphones. (We request not too much candy or toys but still fun)
Gift Cards for the Holidays: Gift cards are one of the most flexible ways to support our efforts to provide holiday gifts for our clients. We are in need of donations of gift cards in any denomination to Walmart, JC Penney, Amazon, Beauty Salons, or restaurants. We have approximately 50 families to support.
Women's Toiletry Kits: hair dye, lotions, perfume, deoderant, razors, makeup, toothbrushes, toothpaste. (Please include items suitable for black, brown and white women)
