We Love Volunteers

Whether it’s sorting, pricing, decorating, working at the cash register, volunteers are vital in helping our stores make a genuine difference in the community. Volunteering can help build your resume, help give back to the community, build friendships, and support the work of Verde Valley Sanctuary. Volunteers receive 50% discount at all stores!  Shop, Donate, Volunteer.

Interested in volunteering and wondering where to start? The best place to start is to contact our Thrift Store Managers. You can ask them for a volunteer application and talk about how you might like to contribute to the success of the thrift store.  We’re a fun place to  be  and a classy thriftique!  Call Barry, Community Enterprise  Director (928) 282-2563.

Volunteer Tasks

• Serve as cashier
• Maintain cleanliness inside and outside of store
• Receive donations & give tax donation receipts
• Sort incoming donations
• Decorate the store
• Assist customers on sales floor
• Price, tag, and steam clothing
• Communicate our mission and support for VVS

We are a gold standard thriftique!  We’re good environmental stewards; we recycle what cannot be sold in the stores.  Nothing is wasted and nothing goes on the shop floor until it has been cleaned, polished, steamed, and spruced up.
