- [IRA Charitable Giving](https://verdevalleysanctuary.org/iracharitablegiving/): An IRA charitable gift - also called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) - allows someone age 70-1/2 or older to give directly from their traditional IRA to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization without paying income tax on that withdrawal. Because the money goes straight to the charity, it isn't counted as taxable income, which can lower your overall tax bill and even satisfy Required Minimum Distributions (RMD) once they begin at age 73. It is one of the most efficient ways to give, letting you support Verde Valley Sanctuary while maximizing the impact of your donation and minimizing taxes!
